Servings: 2
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons Fused Spice Bag Seasoning plus extra to taste (Shop)
- drizzle of sesame oil
- 2 chicken breasts cut into strips
- 2 tablespoons Potato starch or cornflour Shop
- Preferred oil
- 1 onion peeled & sliced
- 1 red pepper sliced
- 1 red chilli sliced (optional)
- 4 large potatoes washed and peeled
- ½ tub of Fused Premium Chinese Curry Sauce Shop
Instructions
- Season the raw chicken strips with a drizzle of sesame oil and one teaspoon of Fused Spice Bag Seasoning. Then, coat the chicken strips with 2 tablespoons of potato starch or cornflour.
- Cut the potatoes into thick chips and wash to rinse off excess starch. Dry with kitchen towel. In a bowl drizzle your preferred oil over the chips (I use olive oil) and season with 1 tsp of Fused Spice Bag Seasoning (Note that the amount of oil you use will depend on the cooking method; an air fryer will require less oil on the chips compared to an oven).
- Place the chips in a preheated airfryer tray at 200C and cook for about 25 minutes shaking a few times. Alternatively, toss the chips on a preheated oven tray and place in a preheated oven at 200C for about 40 minutes.
- For the chicken strips - place in a preheated airfryer tray 180C with a drizzle of oil and cook for about 10 mins (alternatively cook in a preheated oven 180C).
- Add oil to a hot pan/wok and fry the onions, peppers and chilli for a minute or so. Toss in the cooked chicken strips and cooked chips.
- Taste test and then sprinkle more Fused Spice Seasoning depending on your own taste.
- In a separate saucepan, prepare Fused Premium Chinese Curry Sauce as per packet instructions. Simply mix 1/2 tub of Fused Chinese Curry Sauce with 400ml of water, bring to the boil, and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Serve the spice bag dish on a large platter, and serve the curry sauce on the side or drizzle generously over the dish. Enjoy!
